Recognizing the needs of the local community, on February 26, 2018, B2 Kapital donated five new, state-of-the-art beds and nine antecubital mattresses, customized for the care of the seriously-ill patients, to the Special Hospital for Chronic Pediatric Diseases in Gornja Bistra.
This valuable donation, worth HRK 112,000, will enable better-quality care for bedridden patients. Moreover, the various special features of the donated equipment will provide the patients with the best quality care possible. As a socially responsible company, B2 Kapital strives to help society’s most vulnerable groups by improving the difficult circumstances they find themselves in and facilitating their struggles with the disease.
The Special Hospital for Chronic Pediatric Diseases in Gornja Bistra cares for 104 chronically ill patients, aged 3 months to 46 years, from all over Croatia. Most parents and family members cannot care for these patients at home, and the majority of them have been completely abandoned by their loved ones. Finally, this hospital is the only institution in Croatia that provides the most seriously-ill patients with the necessary medical care 24 hours a day.
