Zagreb, December 21, 2020 – B2 Kapital has once again decided to donate the funds set aside for the purchase of their corporate Christmas gifts, thus contributing to and helping their local community. The donation, worth HRK 50,000, will go to Zagreb’s Dubrava Clinical Hospital, the primary internal medicine and respiratory center treating COVID-19 patients.
“We are infinitely grateful to the doctors and other medical staff at the Dubrava Clinical Hospital for all the care and help they have been providing to those who need it the most. The efforts that they, like all the other doctors, nurses and medical technicians, have been devoting to making these difficult circumstances easier and facilitating the ongoing fight against this disease is quite admirable,” said Tanja Miljanić Presečki, President of the Management Board at B2 Kapital.
Furthermore, for several years now, B2 Kapital has been encouraging its employees to participate in charity gift-giving to make sure that those most in need have a happier and more festive holiday season. This year, B2 Kapital and its employees decided to help the children’s home run by the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus. The refrigerator at the children’s home broke down recently, and the B2 Kapital employees decided to give them a new one, together with some Konzum gift vouchers, so the staff can fill it with whatever groceries they need. At the same time, each child will also get a bag of candies.
Last year, the company’s donation went to Nova Budućnost, a Samobor-based association caring for children lacking proper parental care, while in 2018, B2 Kapital donated towards equipping the Gornja Bistra Children’s Hospital.
