Being a member of Norway's B2 Holding, every year B2 Kapital Zagreb celebrates Norway's national holiday, Constitution Day, to familiarize its employees with the rich cultural, historical and biological diversity of the Scandinavian country and transfer its good business practices into company operations.
On Friday, May 18, the 150 employees at B2 Kapital Zagreb celebrated Norway's holiday in an excellent mood, with representatives of the Norwegian embassy, traditional delicacies and a quiz about Norway.
The quiz was prepared and hosted by the famous host Joško Lokas, and the five B2 Kapital employees who knew the most about Norway won dinners in a Zagreb restaurant.
Traditionally, Norwegians celebrate their day on May 17, which is the date Norway adopted its constitution. On that day, processions carry flags through the streets, dressed in bunad traditional wear, accompanied by loud music and cheers from numerous onlookers, and the day is especially centered on children. Like here, no celebration can pass without good food and drink, so they enjoy the traditional sour cream porridge, sausages, salt-cured meats and grill, as well as ice cream and home-made sweets.
